Laboratory Equipment Parts Made to Drawing

We machine fluidic manifolds, sample-handling parts, optical and sensor mounts, housings and pump and valve components to the drawings of instrument makers. They belong to our range of diagnostic equipment components.

We do not sell replacement parts for installed instruments: for a spare part, contact the instrument manufacturer or its authorized service provider.

Made to your drawing

Every part is machined to the equipment maker's drawing and datums; we do not sell catalog or replacement parts.

Compatibility stays with you Icon

Compatibility stays with you

Chemical compatibility with reagents and cleaning agents is specified by the equipment manufacturer; we machine the grade on the drawing.

Documents on request Icon

Documents on request

Parts are made under an ISO 13485 quality system, with FAI, CoC and material certificates supplied on request.

From pilot build to repeat production

Engineering samples are measured in full against the released drawing; pilot builds and repeat orders follow the routing and inspection plan you approve, with lot traceability. Fluid-path port fittings and adapters are on our fluid fittings page.

Machining fluidic manifolds and precision mounts

  • Inspection
  • Materials

    Metals and polymers

Aluminum 6061 / 7075 for frames, brackets, housings and optical mounts; 316L stainless steel for wetted parts, passivated when called for; 17-4PH for wear and high-strength parts, condition per drawing. PEEK, PPSU or PSU for chemically resistant wetted and insulating parts; acrylic (PMMA) and polycarbonate for transparent manifolds, windows and covers.

The equipment manufacturer specifies chemical compatibility; we machine the grade on the drawing and supply its material certificate on request.

  • Machining

    Channels, faces and ports

We drill deep, intersecting channels and check burr-free intersections on the first article: a burr inside a gallery is a particle in your fluid path. Sealing faces hold flatness and finish where O-rings or gaskets seal, inspected against the drawing callout.

Ports follow ASME B1.1 or ISO 261 as the drawing specifies, including flat-bottom ports; optical seats use GD&T per ASME Y14.5. 5-axis machining of manifolds puts angled ports in one setup, so features keep their relationship.

  • Finishing

    Finishing and marking

Passivation of 316L wetted parts follows ASTM A967, with electropolishing where specified. Aluminum housings and mounts are finished as the drawing specifies.

Part, serial and lot numbers are laser marked for traceability, and parts ship finished and marked to your specification.

  • Inspection

    Inspection and records

Our ISO 13485 quality system gives equipment makers the records their supplier files require, all on request: an FAI report against the full drawing, CMM and dimensional reports on port positions, flatness and datums, a CoC and material certificates with lot traceability.

Instrument-level safety and performance stay with the equipment manufacturer: IEC 61010-1 and, for medical or IVD instruments, 21 CFR Part 820 and (EU) 2017/746.

MedCNCParts manufactures components to customer specifications; it does not design or market medical devices.

Do you sell replacement parts for laboratory instruments?

No. We machine components to the equipment manufacturer's drawing; for spare parts of an installed instrument, contact the instrument manufacturer or its authorized service provider.

Which laboratory equipment parts do you machine?

Fluidic manifolds and valve blocks, sample-handling parts, optical and sensor mounts, housings, pump and valve components and precision brackets, all made to drawing.

Which materials do you use for wetted parts?

Typically 316L stainless steel, PEEK, PPSU and, for transparent parts, acrylic or polycarbonate; the equipment manufacturer specifies chemical compatibility.

Can you machine transparent acrylic manifolds?

Yes, acrylic and polycarbonate manifolds are machined to drawing, with channel finish agreed on a sample.

Do you leak-test manifolds?

Leak or pressure testing can be added when specified on the order; otherwise leak testing stays with the equipment manufacturer.

Can you support repeat production after the pilot build?

Yes. Repeat orders run on the same routing and inspection plan, with lot traceability and change notification.

What documentation can ship with the parts?

On request, we supply the documents your program needs: a CoC, material certificates, an FAI report on first articles and dimensional or CMM reports on critical features. Parts are made under an ISO 13485-certified quality system.
